Special Education
Overview
The Special Education Department provides eligible students with a continuum of services (universal, moderate, targeted, and intensive) specifically designed to assist with academics and behavioral challenges through specialized instruction through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The Special Education Department staff partner with students and families to ensure that students with disabilities have access to learning that will assist these students become successful in school and in the community.
Our service providers include teachers, paraprofessionals, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists/assistants, physical therapists, school psychologists, school social workers, audiologists, and teachers of the deaf.
